Some common dental emergencies include:
A tooth that has been knocked out, or knocked loose
Chipped, broken, or cracked teeth that are causing pain
A lost crown or filling that is causing pain
Any other dental injury, pain or discomfort
Dental emergencies are not limited to the list above. When in doubt, keep in mind that bleeding, severe pain, swelling and lost teeth are all indicative of a dental emergency.
We have an emergency dental care policy to ensure that patients receive immediate treatment during our regular clinic hours.
We will respond to your concerns and, if necessary, an emergency appointment will be booked with one of our dentists. During this appointment, we will aim to diagnose the problem and help ease your pain and discomfort. If further treatment is required, we will schedule an appointment or you and provide instructions for how to care for yourself in the meantime.
